About the Role

Bournemouth University is a leading institution in higher education, renowned for its commitment to inspiring learning, advancing knowledge, and enriching society. As a key member of the Student Services directorate, the CareersBU team provides a comprehensive range of careers and employability support to BU students and graduates.

This exciting opportunity is part of our mission to proactively engage students with our services, making career development an accessible and unintimidating experience. We seek a dedicated individual to lead our student engagement efforts, focusing on increasing participation among underrepresented student groups.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering innovative approaches to student engagement, leveraging digital and face-to-face channels to promote CareersBU services. This includes developing engaging content, such as social media, video, and case studies, to showcase the value of our services.

As a key member of our team, you will supervise a group of student Careers Champions, who will play a vital role in creating content that resonates with their peers. Your expertise in creating compelling digital content will be essential in promoting our services and reaching a wider audience.

We are looking for a creative, positive, and ambitious individual who is confident in engaging with students from diverse backgrounds. If you have experience in creating engaging digital content and are passionate about student development, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver innovative approaches to student engagement
  • Develop engaging content, including social media, video, and case studies
