Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead the development, training, and fine-tuning of a large language model. This individual will be responsible for implementing a private, large language model based on both structured and text-based data inputs, integrating artificial intelligence to support a chatbot feature, and contributing to data architecture review.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a large language model architecture that meets the needs of our informatics team
  • Develop and train a large language model using structured and text-based data inputs
  • Integrate artificial intelligence to support a chatbot feature that interacts with the large language model
  • Contribute to data architecture review and support structural changes as needed
  • Support departmental process improvement initiatives and participate in training and development of more junior team members

Requirements

  • 1-2 years direct, post-graduate experience implementing a large language model or a PhD dissertation implementing a large language model
  • Advanced computer programming skills in Python or R
  • Analytical thinker with great attention to detail
