About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nursing Assistant to join our Myton at Home team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients in their own homes, providing emotional support and practical assistance to help them maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Registered Nurses in delivering holistic nursing care to patients and their families
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to understand their needs and preferences
  • Assess and respond to patients' needs, providing emotional support and practical assistance as required
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with Myton Hospice policies and procedures
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery
Requirements
  • Two years' experience of hospice, hospital, or community nursing
  • Experience of multidisciplinary team working
  • Experience of working in a palliative care setting
  • Experience of caring for patients and families with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (either achieved, working towards, or willing to undertake)
