About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Surveyor to join our team on a fixed-term contract for 16 months. This is an excellent opportunity to have a measurable impact across the business, ensuring our properties are safe and maintained to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the delivery of various programmes across core areas, including fire safety, water, legionella, asbestos, lifts, and gas.
  • Liaise with internal and external teams to manage contracts, chair progress meetings, and provide advice on programme quality, design, and costs.
  • Ensure the health and safety of our residents, staff, and contractors, while driving our commitment to provide safe, comfortable, and accessible housing.

Requirements

  • HNC or CIOB in Building or Surveying or equivalent experience.
  • Experience of maintenance management and/or construction management.
  • Demonstrable and proven track record working in Compliance Management within a Social Housing environment.
  • Knowledge, understanding, and some experience of managing contracts within budgetary constraints.
  • Ability to drive with access to a vehicle for business use.
