Functional Skills Educator

**Job Summary**
The Role
As a Functional Skills Tutor at PeoplePlus, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to our learners at HMYOI Werrington. You will work closely with your Curriculum Manager and teaching colleagues to develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that address the training needs of the group and promote literacy, numeracy, language, and personal development.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and review lesson plans to ensure they meet the training needs of the group and promote academic and personal growth.
- Collect and act on feedback from learners and other sources to improve curriculum content and delivery.
- Engage and motivate learners to maintain interest and participation in training sessions.
- Complete administrative tasks, such as registering learners, updating records, and submitting reports as required.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support learners' progression towards qualifications and employment.
- Ensure compliance with security and reporting requirements as directed by HMYOI Werrington.
- Monitor and review learners' progression to ensure training continues to meet their identified needs.
