Join Fives Landis Ltd. as a Multi-Skilled Service Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Service Engineer to join our team at Fives Landis Ltd. in the United Kingdom. As a key member of our Aftermarket and Services team, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing electro-mechanical high-value 5-axis equipment/machinery at customer sites.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Install, service, and repair electro-mechanical high-value 5-axis equipment/machinery at customer sites following drawings, manufacturer's instructions, and customer specifications.
  • Operate equipment/machinery through installation and commissioning to ensure that performance, quality, and rate of running meet specifications.
  • Train customer personnel on maintaining, adjusting, and repairing equipment/machinery.
  • Repair worn or defective equipment/machinery.
  • Fault-find and diagnose equipment set-up and process issues; undertake troubleshooting on customer sites and internally.
  • Work on equipment/machinery refurbishments, re-tools, and refits where necessary.
  • Document all inspections, maintenance, and repair work, plus fault finding and diagnostics.
  • Gather market intelligence and identify opportunities for promoting additional services/spare part sales etc. when working at customer sites.
  • Maintain tools and test equipment in good condition; organise self in line with lean manufacturing principles, 5S standards etc.
  • Work to a high standard at all times ensuring adherence to current FMS Health & Safety standards and promoting a professional and positive image of FMS.
  • Understand own responsibilities in following Fives Golden Rules of Health & Safety, Values, and Directives and act as a positive role model for good health & safety practices.
  • Support on-site at Cross Hills if and when required, working on Fives Landis Ltd. equipment/machinery.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties as may be required.
