About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically strong Senior Structural Engineer to join our Bridge Design Teams. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering challenging bridge design and maintenance schemes, working closely with our clients to understand their needs and develop innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver bridge assessment, maintenance, strengthening, and replacement schemes
  • Develop and implement structural analysis programs to ensure compliance with relevant design and assessment standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Provide technical support to external clients, developers, contractors, and other local authorities
  • Contribute to the development of our Bridge Design Teams, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive innovation and excellence
Requirements
  • Educated to Degree level in Civil or Structural Engineering or significant relevant experience
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of structural behaviour, design codes, materials, and proficient in computer analysis
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload to ensure that timescales and budgets are met
  • In-depth understanding of current Eurocodes, British Standards, and assessment codes
  • Working knowledge of the application of structural analysis programs
  • Good communication skills and a high standard of report writing
  • Sound understanding of the CDM Regulations
  • Current divers' license is essential as the role requires travel to various locations within Hampshire
