A Unique Opportunity in Bridge Engineering

As a progressive in-house engineering unit, we provide a diverse array of services to local authorities and public entities. Our Structures Design Teams are in search of a dedicated and technically proficient Bridge Engineer to contribute to the execution of complex bridge design and maintenance projects. We foster a collaborative team environment, prioritizing the continuous professional development of our Engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

In your role within the Structures Design Teams, you will oversee project management and design for a variety of bridge replacement, reinforcement, and maintenance initiatives. Additionally, you will conduct inspections and evaluations of existing bridges and other highway structures. Taking a lead role on assigned projects, you will collaborate closely with a senior team member to enhance your learning and experience. A solid understanding of relevant design standards (Eurocodes), construction methodologies, and contract procedures is essential.

Recent Projects:

Our portfolio includes the design of a new integral two-span continuous steel composite deck bridge as part of a significant bypass project, a bridge replacement initiative in New Forest, and a refurbishment scheme involving four major structures over River Test and Network Rail tracks, alongside various smaller bridges and footbridges. Future projects will encompass multi-million-pound railway footbridge replacements and the reinforcement of a 27-span concrete bridge, in addition to ongoing small-scale replacement and strengthening projects. We also provide technical support to external clients, developers, contractors, and other local authorities.
