**Job Summary**
We are recruiting 24 trainee Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHPs) to deliver evidence-based, high-quality, and responsive services to meet the mental health and emotional wellbeing needs of children, young people, and families (CYPF). As a trainee EMHP, you will work within our service, delivering interventions to CYPF and education settings while balancing your university timetable and requirements.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Deliver short-term, low-intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) informed interventions for CYP aged 5-19 years with anxiety, low mood, family and peer relationship difficulties, difficulty adjusting to change, or managing emotions in educational settings.
- Work closely with education settings to provide mental health support and interventions.
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for CYPF.
- Develop and maintain relationships with education settings, CYPF, and other stakeholders.
**Requirements**
- A minimum of 2 years' experience of working with Children, Young People, and Families.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Passion for supporting CYP's mental health and wellbeing.
