Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our Specialist Perinatal Community Mental Health Service. The successful candidate will work within the Perinatal Team West, providing support and treatment to women experiencing moderate to severe mental illness during the perinatal period.

Main Responsibilities

The post holder will provide strong clinical leadership and expertise to the multidisciplinary team, ensuring high standards are maintained. They will hold a caseload and manage regular follow-up and assessment clinics, working closely with the medical team to ensure effective patient flow and discharge management.

The Advanced Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for building strong links with primary care colleagues and secondary care services, ensuring effective pathways are in place. They will also provide training relating to perinatal mental health for other disciplines.

Requirements
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse
