About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Waste and Resources Consultant to join our team at Wardell Armstrong. As a key member of our Waste and Resource Management Team, you will play a crucial role in delivering our regulatory, waste, and resource-related services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply for environmental permits and monitor compliance at permitted sites.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their waste management needs and develop effective solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with waste and environmental legislation, and provide expert advice to clients.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality services and achieve business objectives.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant discipline, such as environmental science or engineering.
  • Excellent knowledge of waste and environmental legislation, gained through experience as a regulator, consultant, or in the waste industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
