About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Ferrero International S.A. in a permanent position working to a rotating shift pattern covering AM, PM, and Nights.

As a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for handling planned and unplanned maintenance tasks, optimizing our plant's performance. Your key areas of focus will include:

  • Respecting and working to standards in key areas such as health and safety, food safety, environment, hygiene, and product quality assurance.
  • Delivering line performance through providing proactive engineering support.
  • Providing knowledge and support in the event of plant failure.
  • Undertaking routine maintenance on equipment to ensure it performs to the expected standard.
  • The diagnosis and repair of plant, equipment breakdowns or defects, working closely with production team colleagues to advise on resolution actions and timeframes.
  • Carrying out scheduled PPM tasks, fault reporting, and root cause analysis.
  • Ensuring daily maintenance activity is recorded accurately and in a timely manner on the computerized maintenance management system.
  • Providing maintenance insight and input to problem-solving and continuous improvement activities.
  • Advising of repairs or diagnostic issues to the Maintenance Manager.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An experienced engineer qualified to level 3 or equivalent with an electrical and mechanical background.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Experience using computerized maintenance systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build great working relationships across teams and departments.
  • A commitment to following procedures and processes to keep our people and products safe.
  • The ability to work to clear priorities and within defined processes.
  • The ability to adapt to changing priorities and work accordingly.
