Job Title: Plant Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Bluebridge Industrial Estate, Halstead, Essex. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for supporting the Site Manager with the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) System, ensuring the safe and cost-effective overhaul of key equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Site Manager with the PPM System, ensuring timely and effective maintenance of equipment.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to identify and prioritize maintenance tasks, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal equipment performance.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and testing of equipment to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and maintenance personnel.
Requirements:
  • Qualified in electrical or mechanical engineering, with a strong understanding of process industries.
  • Experience in engineering, PLC controls, or electronics is highly desirable.
  • Hold a qualification or possess experience in materials handling, confined spaces, working at heights, and first aid.
  • Ability to operate a telehandler truck and obtain a telehandler license.
  • Full UK driving license is required.
