Maintenance Engineer - Renewable Energy Sector

MC Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Halstead. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for implementing the maintenance strategy on an Anaerobic Digestion site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out maintenance on Electrical and Mechanical plant on a food waste Anaerobic Digestion site
  • Schedule and manage Planned Preventative Maintenance
  • Manage a maintenance budget and cost control
  • Oversee junior members of the team when required
  • Remote monitoring of the AD process
  • Other duties as required
Requirements:
  • Proven experience carrying out maintenance on process equipment such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, and conveyors etc.
  • A relevant engineering qualification (HNC/Apprenticeship/NVQ)
  • Working knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation
  • Familiar with operations in a fast-moving 24/7 production environment
  • Experience working at a process plant / similar is advantageous
  • A full UK driving licence is essential for this role
