Ecologist Position Overview

We are seeking an ambitious Ecologist to join our team at Pebble Recruitment LTD. As a key member of our ecology team, you will be responsible for undertaking protected species surveys, producing technical reports, and managing medium to large-sized projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake protected species surveys to ensure compliance with UK wildlife legislation
  • Produce high-quality technical reports, including PEA reports, BNG reports, and protected species reports
  • Manage medium to large-sized projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of industry experience in ecology or a related field
  • Degree in Ecology, Environmental Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 1 protected species licence (preferably)
  • Hold a full UK driving license
  • Extensive knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and the ability to apply it correctly
  • Chartered Institute of Ecology & Environmental Management (CIEEM) certification is preferred
