Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team at Prospero Teaching.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support students with special educational needs in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans.
  • Provide one-to-one support and small group instruction to students with varying needs.
  • Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery to ensure a high-quality learning experience.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a smooth and supportive learning environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with children, preferably in a SEND setting.
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training and a valid DBS certificate.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are desirable but not essential.
  • Right to work in the UK and ability to provide two professional child-related references.
