Housing Management Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Housing Management Specialist to join our team based in Bradford on a full-time basis. The postholder will be responsible for providing a high-quality housing management service to local residents, and support people to sustain their homes and quality of life.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Housing Officer / Tenancy Manager / Housing Partner or similar, with in-depth knowledge of housing legislation, policies, and procedures. They will be able to communicate complex information in a clear and accessible manner, and have excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage workload efficiently, and meet deadlines.
The role will involve handling all aspects of housing management, including Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB), arrears, tenancy reviews, account management, and tenant sign-ups. The postholder will be the principal point of contact for a local area, estate, or patch of residents, and ensure the conditions in the area are well maintained.
The successful candidate will have a UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle, and be able to work closely with members of the public, commissioners, care providers, and other partners to ensure tenant needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a high-quality housing management service to local residents
- Support people to sustain their homes and quality of life
- Handle all aspects of housing management, including ASB, arrears, tenancy reviews, account management, and tenant sign-ups
- Be the principal point of contact for a local area, estate, or patch of residents
- Ensure the conditions in the area are well maintained
- Work closely with members of the public, commissioners, care providers, and other partners to ensure tenant needs are met
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Housing Officer / Tenancy Manager / Housing Partner or similar
- In-depth knowledge of housing legislation, policies, and procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage workload efficiently, and meet deadlines
- UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle
