Key Responsibilities:
- Issue Invoices: Promptly issue invoices to customers and ensure accurate and timely processing.
- Collect Outstanding Payments: Effectively collect outstanding payments from customers, minimizing bad debt and ensuring timely receipt of funds.
- Account Query Resolution: Address and resolve account queries efficiently, providing excellent customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Reporting: Generate weekly and monthly reports for senior management, providing insights into accounts receivable performance and identifying areas for improvement.
- Credit Control: Implement effective credit control systems, ensuring accurate and timely processing of credit applications and maintaining a strong credit risk management framework.
- VAT Treatment: Ensure accurate VAT treatment and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring excellent customer service and driving business growth.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with credit insurance providers and work closely with the sales team to ensure accurate order processing and timely delivery of products.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform additional accounting and administrative tasks as required, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
Requirements:
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or credit control.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and senior management.
- IT Skills: Proficient in IT, with experience using accounting software and other relevant systems.
- Personal Qualities: Self-motivated with a strong sense of determination and a positive, can-do attitude.
