POSITION SUMMARY

The Quality & EHS Manager will play a pivotal role in advising and supporting the Worksop site to ensure adherence to all relevant ISO standards, Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations, as well as company policies. This position carries the responsibility of addressing critical issues, audit findings, and noncompliance areas through effective follow-up. You will collaborate with Senior Leaders to maintain a compliant and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee, manage, and enhance the Quality Management System (QMS) and HSE protocols, ensuring alignment with essential third-party accreditations and specific customer certifications.
  • Lead the quality function, taking strategic ownership of quality initiatives with clients, and advancing quality systems to ensure consistency and sustainability that meet customer expectations.
  • Establish, implement, and evaluate relevant Quality and HSE Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Foster a culture of Quality and Health, Safety, and Environmental awareness throughout the organization by engaging employees and clarifying responsibilities.
  • Promote a mindset of customer-centricity, continuous improvement, and Quality excellence.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for health and safety enhancements and disseminate best practices across the organization.
  • Assist in the execution of risk management processes, including risk assessments and fire safety evaluations.
  • Ensure effective management of non-conformities and customer grievances, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
  • Proactively manage corrective actions and monitor outcomes.
  • Utilize Quality and Continuous Improvement tools to address quality and operational challenges identified during quality assessments.
  • Coordinate and lead third-party audits, whether from regulatory bodies or customers.
  • Conduct periodic internal audits of departments and processes in accordance with ISO standards, reporting on Quality and health and safety performance.
  • Understand and ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and related legal requirements pertinent to the business.
  • Ensure that KPIs are regularly monitored and promoted to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and present agreed dashboards and reports regularly.
  • Develop training materials and educate the workforce on the necessary tools and techniques for a successful QMS.
  • Support the warranty process within the organization.
  • Gather, analyze, and maintain subject matter data relevant to the organization’s performance for reporting and strategic review.
  • Identify training needs and provide or source programs to communicate and implement HSE policies and procedures effectively.
  • Act as the coordinator for the HSE Steering Committee.
  • Manage the document management department, ensuring timely and accurate project documentation and Quality plans that comply with customer and industry standards.
  • Establish and maintain an efficient quality system in line with corporate policy to ensure quality standards are upheld throughout all stages of design, procurement, and manufacturing.
  • Compile, approve, and control Quality Management manuals, procedures, and work instructions in collaboration with relevant departments.
  • Evaluate, audit, and approve all suppliers and subcontractors, managing the audit program at Worksop.
  • Ensure an effective and economical calibration process for tools and equipment.
  • Conduct quarterly reviews of the QMS systems, reporting findings to the local senior management team and agreeing on corrective actions and timelines.
  • Review and provide insights on pre-sale Quality contractual matters and stipulations.
  • Encourage personnel development while upholding high standards of discipline and productivity in line with Celeros FT leadership standards.
  • Support Celeros FT company policies and maintain the highest ethical standards.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by the Site Lead.
  • Keep the management team informed of significant issues or developments identified during quality activities and the actions taken to improve the situation.

  • Proficient in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret business documents and regulations relevant to the industry.
  • Willingness to visit suppliers and customer sites as needed to fulfill company QA responsibilities.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with SAP or Oracle is advantageous.
  • Strong administrative and organizational capabilities.
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Desire for professional development.
  • Strong customer service orientation.

Education and Experience

  • Extensive experience in project or capital equipment-based industries.
  • Minimum of HND in Quality Inspection; ideally degree-qualified in a science or engineering discipline.
  • Experience ensuring compliance with national and international standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ASME, and PED.
  • Proven ability to influence Quality aspects of complex contractor and subcontractor relationships.
  • Accredited as an ISO Lead/Internal auditor.
  • Experience in analyzing business operations and optimizing QMS and related standards.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Possession of a recognized Quality qualification and accreditation.
  • Demonstrated success in managing quality improvement initiatives.
  • Experience in engineered pressure boundary equipment is preferred.
  • Strong management experience and leadership skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with other functions in a matrix organization.
