About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mental Health Liaison Practitioner to join our team at Aspect Healthcare. As a key member of our crisis intervention team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to young people in crisis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support young people and their carers in mental health crisis across various settings, including general hospitals, CAMHS offices, and online platforms.
  • Develop and implement effective risk assessment and safety planning strategies to ensure the well-being of our clients.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to young people in crisis.
  • Provide education and training to colleagues and stakeholders on mental health crisis intervention and management.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to crisis intervention and management.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a qualified mental health practitioner in the NHS.
  • Experience as a care co-ordinator and/or in CAMHS or crisis care settings.
  • Strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support to young people in crisis.
  • Excellent risk assessment and safety planning skills.
  • Current NMC pin and ability to work in the UK.
