About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Education Sector Development Manager. As a key lead for the Further Education sector across the UK regions, you will be responsible for facilitating excellent communication and relationships with our customers and the wider sector, advocating for copyright and IP, and promoting the benefits of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build, maintain, and manage relationships with key customers and organisations within the Further Education sector.
  • Ensure effective and timely engagement, as well as a smooth renewal process, to maintain and grow licence revenue within the sector.
  • Work with the Head of Education and Public Sector to draw up an account engagement plan and implement agreed strategies.
  • Provide support for the sector through responses to queries from customers, timely updates, and communications, as well as training as required.
  • Take the lead role in working with Product and Marketing to conduct forums, focus groups, and facilitate sector expert panels to provide feedback on product development and the wider business.
  • Work with the Product Development team to ensure that products developed are in line with the agreed Education Strategy for Further Education.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Data and Insight and the Head of Marketing to inform programmes of research required to support strategic goals and priorities.
  • Develop a programme of promotional activities for your sector, which drives brand awareness, supports current revenue, and creates future opportunities.
Requirements
  • Personable, outgoing, analytical, and creative approach with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proven account management experience and skills.
  • Good understanding of and capacity to undertake research and analysis.
  • Knowledge of IP/Creative industries and their relevance within the Education sectors.
  • High level of skills in MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software.
