Key Responsibilities

- Act as a liaison between the panels, branch managers, and the service, providing briefings to agency decision-makers on panel-related matters.
- Deliver consistent support and constructive feedback across both branches to ensure that foster carers receive exemplary service and support.
- Establish and maintain robust quality assurance mechanisms.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A degree in social work with a relevant professional qualification.
- Active registration with Social Work England and evidence of continuous professional development.
- Experience as a fostering panel advisor, along with a background in senior practitioner or team leader roles within a fostering environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Children Act 1989 and 2004, including current national policies and best practices in children's social care.
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and producing detailed reports for various stakeholders.
Benefits
We are committed to fostering a supportive work environment, offering a competitive salary along with a range of benefits, including:
- Generous annual leave, increasing with service length.
- Comprehensive induction programs tailored to new employees.
- Access to local government pension schemes.
- Flexible working arrangements to promote work-life balance.
- A robust Employee Assistance Programme.
- Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
Commitment to Equality and Safeguarding
