Electrical Fitter Role Overview

Babcock International Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Fitter to join our Waterfront team at HMNB Clyde. As an Electrical Fitter, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing electrical systems within our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate and diagnose faults in electrical systems
  • Repair and maintain electrical aspects of facilities
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical systems
  • Defect identification and repair

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Electrical fitting or maintenance gained within an Industrial or Commercial environment
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
  • Works in a safe manner – able to understand statements of work, risk assessments etc
  • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces on occasion

Qualifications

  • Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship, qualified to SVQ Level 3 or equivalent (NVQ3, City & Guilds, HNC etc)

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC level security clearance for this role.
