Babcock International Group is seeking a skilled Electrical Fitter to join our Estates Maintenance team at HMNB Clyde, near Helensburgh. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our electrical systems.

The Role

As an Electrical Fitter, you will be responsible for investigating and diagnosing faults, repairing and maintaining electrical aspects of facilities. Your duties will include:

  • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance and fitting on a variety of electrical systems
  • Defect identification and repair
  • Working to required electrical regulations and maintaining documentation in a safe and healthy manner

Essential Experience

We are looking for an individual with proven experience in Electrical fitting or maintenance gained within an Industrial or Commercial environment. You should be able to read and understand engineering drawings and work in a safe manner, understanding statements of work, risk assessments, etc. Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces on occasion.

Qualifications

A recognised Electrical Apprenticeship, qualified to SVQ Level 3 or equivalent (NVQ3, City & Guilds, HNC etc) is required. The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC level security clearance for this role.
