Babcock International Group is seeking a skilled Electrical Fitter to join our team at HMNB Clyde. As a key member of our Waterfront section, you will play a critical role in providing specialist engineering support services to the Ministry of Defence.

The Role

As an Electrical Fitter, you will be responsible for investigating and diagnosing faults, repairing and maintaining electrical aspects of facilities. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance and fitting on a variety of electrical systems
  • Defect identification and repair
  • Working to required electrical regulations and maintaining documentation in a safe and healthy manner

Essential Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in Electrical fitting or maintenance gained within an Industrial or Commercial environment
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
  • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces on occasion

Qualifications

You will need to hold a recognised Electrical Apprenticeship, qualified to SVQ Level 3 or equivalent (NVQ3, City & Guilds, HNC etc).

The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC level security clearance for this role.
