Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at a specialist manufacturing business that supplies sustainable packaging to the Food and Drink market. The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination of innovation projects, technical line trials, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and improve quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of laboratory and manufacturing processes, equipment, and documentation to identify areas for improvement
  • Establish and define competent statistical analysis, monitoring quality control data to identify trends, deviations, and potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of quality assurance activities, including audit reports, corrective action plans, and training records
  • Investigate and resolve quality-related issues, customer complaints, and non-conformances in a timely manner
  • New product development, particularly QA trials, sample testing, and approvals

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Manager or Senior quality role, preferably in a regulated industry
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards applicable to laboratory operations
  • Experience conducting audits, inspections, and investigations, and implementing corrective and preventive actions
  • Ability to write technical customer reports based on data analysis of quality measures
  • BRC experience
