Assistant Clinical/Counselling Psychologist

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our clinical team at Outcomes First Group. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a psychologist to carry out tasks that involve group work, 1:1 work, research, audit, and evaluation.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity will involve working with autistic individuals, many of whom have learning disabilities and complex profiles of need. You will work within a supportive team, collaborating closely with Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, and other disciplines to provide high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out tasks under the supervision of a psychologist, including group work, 1:1 work, research, audit, and evaluation.
  • Work with autistic individuals, many of whom have learning disabilities and complex profiles of need.
  • Collaborate with Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, and other disciplines to provide high-quality care.
  • Conduct research, audit, and evaluation tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Psychology degree (2:1 plus MA/MSc or first)
  • Relevant experience of working with children and young people
  • First-hand experience of quantitative and qualitative research, including different methods of data collection, research designs, analysis, and final report writing
  • Experience of teaching and/or supporting other health professionals
  • Full UK valid driving licence and access to own vehicle
