Job Title: Mechanical and CNC Engineer

We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Rolls-Royce Distributed Generation Systems Engineering in Winsford. As a Mechanical and CNC Engineer, you will be responsible for providing flexible, robust, efficient, and cost-effective engineering support to our existing products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct failure diagnosis, analysis, and sentencing of problems affecting in-service equipment, including equipment testing as required.
  • Provide technical support services for our Defence customers, both in the UK and overseas.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering team to develop and implement new power system technologies and products.
  • Interact with and support various business functions, including Project Management and Sales / Marketing.
Requirements:
  • Mechanical Engineering degree with proven experience in a mechanical engineering role.
  • Wide-ranging practical experience, including knowledge of regulatory requirements relating to power generation and distribution equipment.
  • Competence with using Autodesk CAD software packages is preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work well within the Engineering team and build strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Adaptability, flexibility, and a drive to acquire new skills.
