Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Rolls-Royce Distributed Generation Systems Engineering in Winsford. As a key member of our team, you will provide flexible, robust, efficient, and cost-effective engineering support to our existing products.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Conduct failure diagnosis, analysis, and sentencing of problems affecting in-service equipment, including equipment testing as required.
  • Provide technical support services for our Defence customers, both in the UK and overseas.
  • Collaborate with our Engineering team to develop and implement new power system technologies and products.
  • Interact with and support various business functions engaged in growing our business, including Project Management and Sales/Marketing.

Requirements:

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, proven experience in a mechanical engineering role, and wide-ranging practical experience. You should also have knowledge of the regulatory requirements relating to power generation and distribution equipment. Additionally, competence with using Autodesk CAD software packages is preferential but not essential.
