Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Care Home Manager to join our team at Appoint Group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our care facilities and ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Provide strong leadership and management to our care facilities, ensuring the highest standards of care are always maintained.
  • Team Development: Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and personal growth.
  • Compliance and Quality: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines, including those set by regulatory bodies, and take appropriate action to address any areas of improvement.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, their families, and external stakeholders, promoting open communication and a person-centred approach to care.
  • Financial Management: Manage the financial aspects of our care facilities, including budgeting, resource allocation, and cost control, while ensuring the provision of quality care remains uncompromised.
  • Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of our care facilities, implementing necessary changes and improvements to enhance the overall quality of care and resident satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in managing a care home, with a strong track record of success in delivering high-quality care and achieving good ratings.
  • Credentials: NMC pin preferred (Nurse/RGN/RMN)
  • Knowledge and Skills: In-depth knowledge and understanding of the regulatory framework, excellent leadership and management skills, strong financial acumen, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Education: Recognized qualification in health and social care
