Position Overview:

We are in search of a proactive and skilled finance/investment professional to serve as the Executive Assistant to our Chief Investment Officer (CIO). This role is essential in facilitating strategic projects, enhancing business development initiatives, cultivating vital industry connections, and identifying new investment avenues.

The ideal candidate will have a robust background in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or related fields, demonstrating a strong capacity for rapid learning and network building.

Key Responsibilities:

1- Project Leadership:

  • Oversee and coordinate special projects in partnership with the CIO, including asset management and regional investment collaborations.

2- Business Expansion:

  • Seek and develop new business prospects to broaden the investment portfolio.
  • Assist the CIO in formulating and executing growth strategies.

3- Relationship Management:

  • Build and sustain relationships with key players in the investment sector.
  • Represent the organization at industry gatherings to enhance visibility and networking opportunities.

4- Investment Opportunity Exploration:

  • Conduct comprehensive research to uncover potential investment opportunities across various sectors.
  • Aid in the assessment of co-investment prospects, leveraging previous experience.

5- Knowledge Development:

  • Initiate efforts to enrich the firm's knowledge repository, focusing on market trends and industry best practices.
  • Support the CIO in preparing insightful reports and presentations for stakeholders.

6- Investment Proposal Support:

  • Assist the CIO in reviewing and assessing investment proposals from different teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Advanced qualifications (MBA, CFA) are advantageous.
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or similar roles.
  • Previous experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar capacity is preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage multifaceted projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a history of evaluating investment opportunities.
  • Excellent networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
