Job Title: Chief Innovation Officer

Company Overview:

Space Executive is a venture capital firm with a diverse portfolio of innovative and high-growth businesses, predominantly in the financial services and fintech sectors. Our portfolio companies are at various stages of development, from early-stage startups to established entities seeking rapid growth. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Innovation Officer to provide strategic leadership and technical expertise across our portfolio companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement technology strategies that drive business growth and innovation.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to portfolio companies, ensuring they have the necessary resources to succeed.
  • Collaborate with our investment team to identify and evaluate new investment opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, making recommendations for their adoption and integration into our portfolio companies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent business experience is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Chief Innovation Officer or senior technology executive, preferably within a venture capital-backed startup or high-growth company environment.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a track record of successfully implementing technology initiatives that drive business growth.
  • In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and data analytics.
