We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at W Talent. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our production facility and ensuring that our products are manufactured to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a team of 30+ employees, providing guidance and support to ensure that daily performance targets are met.
- Make key production decisions in the absence of the Production Manager, ensuring that the facility operates smoothly and efficiently.
- Monitor and support new team members, identifying training and development needs to ensure that they are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
- Work closely with the Quality team to manage product defects, implementing root cause analysis and corrective actions to prevent future issues.
- Monitor and manage absence and lateness levels, disciplinary matters, holiday allocation, and sickness cover.
- 5+ years of experience in a team leader or supervisory role, with a proven track record of driving manufacturing improvements.
- Experience working in a manufacturing, chemical, or fast-paced environment.
- Strong influence and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.
- Strong leadership skills, with a focus on training and development of production employees.
- Ability to work in a high-volume manufacturing environment and manage the pressures associated with it.
- Forward-thinking and proactive approach, with a positive and professional attitude.
- Knowledge of risk assessment procedures and excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Monday to Thursday working days.
- Base salary of £30,000 to £40,000.
