Electronics Test Rework Technician

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Test Rework Technician to join our team at GHA Recruitment Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing test reworks in accordance with industry standards and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform rework for the test department to IAW JST001 & IPC 610, 771-7721
  • Complete the necessary admin to obtain and return parts to stores
  • Ensure all rework is inspected in accordance with company procedures
  • Assist with testing product under supervision of Test Team Leaders
  • Provide cover as Test Technician when required
  • Assist with Test Database Management as required

Requirements

  • Previous experience of rework in accordance with to IAW JST001 and IPC 610, 771-7721 is essential
  • Certified to IPC-A-610 class 3
  • Certified to JSD-001 Class 3
  • Certified to IPC771-7721
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to concentrate for extended periods of time on repetitive tasks
  • Able to work effectively to deadlines and demonstrate a proactive approach
  • Dexterity, Good Hand and Eye coordination

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary of £28,000 to £32,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • A 37.5-hour week
  • Monday to Thursday, start at 07:30 and finish at 16:00 with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
  • Friday start at 07:00 and finish at 13:00
