Electronics Test Rework Specialist

Our client, a specialist electronics manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Electronics Test Rework Specialist for a permanent role. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing test reworks in accordance with JST001 and IPC771-7721.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform rework for the test department to IAW JST001 & IPC 610, 771-7721
  • Complete the necessary admin to obtain and return parts to stores
  • Ensure all rework is inspected in accordance with company procedures
  • Assist with testing product under supervision of Test Team Leaders
  • Provide cover as Test Technician when required
  • Assist with Test Database Management as required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of rework in accordance with to IAW JST001 and IPC 610, 771-7721 is essential
  • Certified to IPC-A-610 class 3
  • Certified to JSD-001 Class 3
  • Certified to IPC771-7721
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to concentrate for extended periods of time on repetitive tasks
  • Able to work effectively to deadlines and demonstrate a proactive approach
  • Dexterity, Good Hand and Eye coordination

What We Offer:

  • £28,000 to £32,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • A 37.5-hour week
  • Monday to Thursday, start at 07:30 and finish at 16:00 with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
  • Friday start at 07:00 and finish at 13:00
  • Flexi time is available
