Role Overview:
Yourgene Health, part of Novacyt Group, is in search of an experienced Packing Operative. This role is based at our site and the successful candidate will play a key role in implementing new processes. The accurate picking and packing of components into various finished test kits will require meticulous attention to detail, as orders may vary significantly. You will collaborate closely with the Logistics Team to ensure an efficient order turnaround from picking and packing to shipment. With continuous improvement as a priority, we seek someone with experience in process review and implementation, who can think creatively and effectively execute tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in transferring existing processes to the new site.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping within agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
- Conduct packing runs to ensure the required number of kits are packed in line with pending orders and stock levels.
- Receive and book in delivered materials.
- Ensure all goods and materials are stored in the appropriate temperature-controlled environment.
- Maintain stock records, perform cycle counting, and conduct stock taking.
- Prepare and complete dispatch documentation.
- Pack goods ready for dispatch and manage the dispatch of finished products to customers.
- Ensure packing line clearance and maintain the warehouse environment.
Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:
- Essential experience in a similar role.
- Familiarity with and adherence to 13485 Quality Management Systems.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm, drive, thoroughness, and accountability.
- Able to work under pressure and consistently meet deadlines.
- Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
