As a Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to emergency and maintenance requests efficiently.
  • Performing safe installations and removals of smart meters (SMETS2) in residential settings as required.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring clients are informed about the advantages and safe usage of their smart meters.

Compensation Package:

  • Base salary of £36,900 with potential earnings of £48,000 annually.
  • Annual bonuses: £1,000 for safety and £1,000 for attendance.
  • Uncapped additional bonuses based on performance.
  • £200 monthly flexible working scheme payment.
  • Overtime compensation at time and a half, with double time on Sundays.
  • 22 days of annual leave plus 8 bank holidays, with additional leave for long-term service.

Requirements for Success:

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Current CCN1/CMA1 & MET1 qualifications or equivalent (within 6 months of expiry).
  • Experience with MOCOPA at a multi-rate level; 3-phase experience is advantageous.
  • A valid UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.
  • A minimum of 6 months of practical experience in a dual fuel capacity.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts and familiarity with mobile IT devices.
