Business Systems Support Analyst

Join our team at Telent Technology Services Limited and play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and security of essential networks around the clock.


As a key member of the Business Systems team, you will support various operations, projects, and critical business processes.


The Business Systems Support Analyst is tasked with developing, designing, and managing technical solutions, primarily utilizing the ServiceNow platform.

Your responsibilities will include administration, application development, maintenance, and technical support, employing best practices in web programming to create robust solutions that leverage ServiceNow's capabilities.

Support essential business processes such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Demand Management, Portfolio Project Management, CMDB, Discovery, Asset Management, Service Catalog, and Knowledge Management.

Effectively plan, execute, monitor, control, and finalize all technical tasks related to the configuration and implementation of all platform aspects.

Assist business systems and the wider user community with their configuration needs.

Provide software coding and customization, including but not limited to screen tailoring, workflow management, report configuration, data imports, integration, scripting, third-party software integrations, and custom application development.

Maintain and update a comprehensive testing protocol for ServiceNow instance upgrades to ensure all applications are certified for use post-upgrade.

Coordinate and resolve complex technical data and transformation challenges.

Gather and analyze business requirements to propose sustainable and effective solutions within ServiceNow.

Address technical and application configuration inquiries.

This position is ideal for individuals with substantial experience in ServiceNow system maintenance and development.

You should have worked with fundamental ServiceNow components such as business rules, client scripts, UI policies, data policies, and UI actions, and possess knowledge of JavaScript and SQL queries as a minimum. Proficiency in writing client-side and server-side JavaScript, .NET, and Jelly code is essential.

Manage and maintain business systems effectively.

Experience in integrating ServiceNow with other systems is required.

Familiarity with JavaScript and the Angular framework is advantageous.

Demonstrate the ability to propose and implement process improvements within projects.

Possess a comprehensive understanding of the ServiceNow Platform, including technology, development, integration, and modules, to design, develop, implement, and test modules according to agreed timelines, budgets, costs, quality, and development standards.

Maintain a high level of product and solution knowledge, ensuring an up-to-date skills profile in ServiceNow, JavaScript, .NET, and Jelly code.
