Join Our Stroke Therapy Team

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our inpatient stroke therapy team at Kings Mill Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will work alongside dedicated stroke clinicians to provide high-quality care through seamless multidisciplinary working.

This is an exciting opportunity for autumn 2024, and would suit an aspiring band 5 or an existing band 6 looking to specialise in stroke rehabilitation. You will have the opportunity to work with a complex client group, from acute through to recovery and rehabilitation.

The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate a true passion for stroke rehabilitation, with experience and an established level of skill in order to effectively assess and treat this client group.

Key Requirements
  • Familiarity with evidence-based research that underpins clinical and professional practice in neurological conditions.
  • Knowledge and Skills Framework for practice development in Neurology.
  • Degree in Physiotherapy, BSc (Hons) or Graduate Diploma in Physiotherapy.
  • Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.

Contractual Requirements
  • Ability to work over 7 day rota.
  • Participation in Physiotherapy 'on-call' service.
  • Ability to travel between sites as required.
