Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Head of SEO in managing, mentoring, and motivating the SEO team
* Effectively communicate SEO strategies to clients and prospects
* Participate in regular client strategy review meetings and provide feedback to the SEO team and Heads of Departments
* Develop and implement SEO strategies for clients and prospects
* Maintain and develop excellent professional relationships with clients to aid in achieving their objectives and client retention
* Conduct client site crawls, identifying and investigating issues and assigning necessary corrective workload
* Create gap analysis reports
* Analyze client campaign success and provide recommendations to the Head of SEO
* Develop and manage client website migration plans
* Conduct link building, identifying areas for outreach, checking links, and creating content for links
* Provide internal SEO training for the Zelst team as required
* Assist with the preparation of monthly and ad-hoc client reports
* Conduct technical SEO site audits as needed
* Participate in the on-boarding of new clients
* Assist with the preparation of client presentations and pitches
* Conduct competitor analysis and identify areas of interest or concern for Zelst
* Proactively contribute to the team with fresh ideation and innovative strategies
Requirements:
* Minimum of 3+ years' experience in an SEO role
* Excellent knowledge of SEO best practices and demonstrable experience implementing these
* Experience in building client relationships and customer service
* Experience in training and coaching team members
* Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
* Highly organized and able to multi-task and prioritize
* Ability to deliver a high level of customer service
* Good level of Microsoft and Google Suite skills
* Excellent level of attention to detail
* Forward thinking
* Solutions oriented
* Proactive with a can-do approach to work
* Curiosity to explore new approaches to challenges
* Positive mindset and upbeat attitude
* Competent knowledge and familiarity with all social media channels and platforms
* Analytical skills to provide actionable insights and recommendations
* Commercial understanding and mindset

* Competitive salary of £35k to £40k per annum, depending on experience and skill set
* 25 days plus bank holidays, increasing to 30 days plus bank holidays with length of service
