Risk & Compliance Officer | Permanent | Full Time | 9-5

Cherry Professional is seeking a highly skilled Risk & Compliance Officer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading law firm in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Carry out compliance with all regulatory requirements, complaints, claims, and adherence to internal policies and procedures.
  2. Work closely with the Client and Matter Inception team to resolve client due diligence, conflict, and other risk escalations, and liaise with partners, fee earners, and staff members firm-wide.
  3. Utilize trusted sources of information to review new business, including client due diligence and risk assessment, and identify and facilitate resolution of conflicts of interest and confidential information issues.
  4. Collaborate with the Risk and Compliance Team and the Client and Matter Inception Team.
  5. Resolve escalated conflicts issues.
  6. Conduct and review AML (client due diligence) risk reports, identifying any issues and escalating these where appropriate.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum of one year previous experience of working as a CDD, risk, and conflicts analyst.
  2. Strong organisational skills and ability to participate as part of a multitasking team.
  3. Strong analytical, written, and communication skills.
  4. Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  5. Ability to act positively, creatively, and intuitively when presented with challenges.
