About the Role

Ruby Energy is seeking a highly skilled Marketing Manager to join our team in Fleetwood. As a key member of our marketing team, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing our communication strategies, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies that align with organisational goals.
  • Content Creation: Write, edit, and produce content for various communication channels, including press releases, newsletters, social media, website content, and internal communications.
  • Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, manage enquiries, and press releases.
  • Digital and Social Media Management: Manage the organisation's digital presence, including websites, and social media platforms. Develop and implement social media strategies to enhance engagement and brand awareness.
  • Internal Communications: Develop and implement internal communication strategies to ensure employees are informed and engaged. Manage internal communication channels, such as the intranet.
  • Brand Management: Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communication platforms. Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring all communications reflect the organisation's values and voice.
  • Communications Budget: Manage the communications budget and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and community organisations. Manage communication with stakeholders to enhance engagement and support.
  • Project Management: Oversee communication projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. Coordinate with external agencies, vendors, and contractors as needed.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies. Prepare and present reports to senior management on communication initiatives and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in a marketing, communications, or public relations role.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with digital marketing tools and social media platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
