Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Regional Operations Manager to lead our aggregates operations in a defined geography within the Heidelberg Materials Aggregates Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving agreed safety, environmental, financial, and operational performance levels, while constantly seeking to improve existing performance levels and identify opportunities for further business operational efficiencies and growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead, direct, and manage a regional operational line management team to achieve performance objectives.
- Ensure compliance with statutory legislation and company regulations.
- Achieve optimum production levels at the lowest operational cost.
- Work with logistics and commercial teams to optimize the supply chain.
- Ensure operational procedures result in the highest quality levels at the most efficient operational cost.
- Develop and implement a five-year operating plan in conjunction with the national business plan.
- Ensure the operational management team is adequately resourced and personnel are trained and developed.
- Optimize production and productivity to meet sales forecasts.
- Evaluate, prepare, and submit capital investment projects for approval.
- Ensure a culture of continual business improvement and generate new projects.
