Human Resources Advisor

The Human Resources Advisor position offers comprehensive People & Organisation (P&O) consulting and guidance utilizing coaching techniques. This role collaborates with leadership, providing expertise across the entire employee life cycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, workforce mobility, succession planning, retention strategies, employee relations, and off-boarding processes. This work is supported by partnerships with the business and P&O Leads to integrate the people strategy effectively within their domains.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide consultation throughout the employee life cycle in collaboration with P&O Leads and other P&O specialist teams Assist leaders and P&O Leads in developing and implementing people strategies Advise on performance-related employee relations issues and informal processes Ensure that the employee experience aligns with our cultural values and operational practices Collaborate with business units to generate ideas, enhance solutions, and support People Strategies Promote inclusion, diversity, and representation through your work Consult, support, and coach on: Talent acquisition and the onboarding experience from a consulting perspective; Driving performance rigor; Transformation initiatives (restructures, consultations, etc.); Succession planning; Internal mobility strategies; Facilitation and mediation skills as required; Consulting on the annual Salary & Bonus process; Understanding family and absence processes and providing consultation alongside specialists

Qualifications and Skills:

Proven track record in HR consulting within complex, dynamic environments, demonstrating strategic thinking and the ability to build trust with stakeholders Experience in matrix organizations where relationship-building is essential Forward-thinking and adaptable to change, including the potential for AI integration Provide thought leadership and partnership on topics such as location strategy and workforce planning Well-qualified in HR, such as CIPD or a Master's degree in a related field Extensive experience in employee relations, change management, and strategic planning Proficient in analytics and utilizing data to convey narratives; strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint to facilitate this Demonstrable relationship management skills Banking experience is not mandatory; we welcome applicants from FinTech, Professional Services, Consulting firms, and Start-up environments as well
