Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Solicitor to lead our Commercial Property team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial property law and excellent leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage the Commercial Property team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality legal services.
  • Caseload Management: Handle a diverse and complex caseload of commercial property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, lease negotiations, and development projects.
  • Strategic Advice: Provide strategic legal advice on all aspects of commercial property law, including landlord and tenant matters, property finance, and planning applications.
  • Document Drafting: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial property documents, including contracts, leases, and agreements.
  • Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence, including title investigations and property searches.
  • Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, developers, agents, and other stakeholders.
  • Compliance: Oversee compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Team Development: Mentor and support team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Business Development: Contribute to business development and the growth of the Commercial Property department.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Qualified Solicitor with 10+ years PQE
  • Experience: Extensive experience in all fields of commercial property work.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using legal practice management software and other relevant technology.
