We are seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Operative to join our team at our Langford Sand and Gravel Quarry in Nottinghamshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the weighbridge and administrative site/quarry tasks.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work to site/quarry daily production targets with Weighbridge operations and site Administrative support tasks
  • Follow SHE policies and procedures
  • Ensure site related operational equipment in keeping with the role conforms with safety requirements at all times
  • Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality responsibilities
  • Acting on defects and raise awareness for remedial action
  • Ensure that plant availability is maximised within your role
  • Housekeeping across the site to provide optimum production

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Knowledge of Weighbridge, Quarrying and Administrative operations
  • Strong administration, numerical and IT skills are required in this role
  • Good Timekeeping Flexible as to the sites manufacturing requirements
  • Good Communication skills bringing problems to the attention of Line Management
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • IT Literate

Previous experience as a Multi-Skilled Operative working in a Plant/Quarry environment would prove highly beneficial; but this is not essential as training will be given to the right candidate.
