Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Purchasing Manager to join our team at The ONE Group Ltd, a leading organization in the communications industry. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for leading a global supply chain and ensuring that optimum financial value for money is achieved for the business.

Your main duties will include:

  • Establish and Progress the Procurement System: Develop and implement a streamlined and cost-effective procurement process to ensure the financial system is optimized.
  • Vendor Selection and Management: Identify and select the best vendors for the role, balancing quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Contract Review and Negotiation: Review and negotiate terms and contracts with existing partners to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Cost Optimization and Profit Maximization: Continuously seek ways to minimize expenditure and maximize profitability across the supply chain.
  • Supply Chain Efficiency and Risk Management: Maintain the supply chain efficiently and identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Business Forecasting and Planning: Collaborate with the team to create business forecasts and develop strategies to achieve financial goals.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Line manage the procurement team and provide guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure the company is compliant with all legal and regulatory standards.

  • Experience in Global Supply Chains: Proven track record of working with global supply chains and managing complex procurement needs.
  • Line Management Experience: Experience in leading and managing a team.
  • Cost Reduction and Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to reduce costs and negotiate effectively with vendors.
  • MCIPS Training: Hold MCIPS training or equivalent.
  • Full Driving Licence: Possess a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
