About the Job


We're seeking a skilled Reliability Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

You'll be responsible for performing proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment, upholding all health and safety policies and practices, and working on continuous improvement projects to enhance our operational environment.

As a Reliability Maintenance Engineer, you'll work closely with senior colleagues to undertake day-to-day maintenance tasks, liaise with contractors when necessary, and contribute to the development of best practices across our EU sites.

Our RME team works around the clock to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment across our global network of fulfilment centres. You'll be part of a dynamic team that handles various aspects of Amazon's technical side, from installing automated packaging systems to overseeing general maintenance and repairing key distribution equipment.

We're looking for a skilled engineer with a strong background in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance, advanced proficiency in the local language, and relevant experience working in a similar role. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on site equipment.
  • Uphold all health and safety policies and practices.
  • Work on continuous improvement projects to enhance our operational environment.

Requirements

  • Served a full Engineering indentured apprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject.
  • Relevant experience as a qualified engineer.
  • Relevant experience working in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance.
  • Advanced proficiency in the local language verbally and in writing.
