About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CIPD Level 7 Tutor to join our team at Avado. As a Tutor and Learning Support Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality learning experiences to our students, providing exceptional support and guidance throughout their programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver tutor support sessions via Zoom and assist in the development of online resources and content.
  • Assess learner work, marking against set criteria, and providing encouraging and development feedback in line with Avado marking guidelines and standards.
  • Provide developmental feedback on activities completed by learners as part of their weekly learning journey.
  • Develop a strong working knowledge of our programme curriculums and learning objectives to support the delivery and operational team.
  • Accountable for learners' learning, progression, results, and satisfaction, including completion of tracking documentation to monitor and report on success rates against set KPIs.
  • Identify opportunities to automate, simplify, and improve efficiency of internal processes.
  • Participate in Continual Professional Development (CPD) and actively encourage productive participation in CPD across the Direct provision.
  • Support in the process of onboarding any new members of the tutor team.
  • Attend meetings as and when required at Head Office or other locations.
Requirements
  • Qualified to Master level.
  • CIPD qualified with active membership.
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office 365 applications.
  • Good communication and presentation skills, oral and written.
  • Time Management skills with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Strong organisation and influencing skills.
