Role Overview

The English Language Instructor role is ideal for a passionate and driven individual dedicated to aiding both staff and students in achieving excellence throughout the educational program while upholding the high standards of LCBT.

This position also entails leading the educational and developmental initiatives for students within the English and Maths curriculum, ensuring the creation, delivery, and management of programs tailored to meet the unique needs of each learner.
This role is pivotal within the team and offers the right candidate opportunities for growth within the organization and potential advancement into management roles.

Candidate Profile:

  • Possession of a teaching qualification (PGCE) and an A-Level in English.
  • Comprehensive understanding of effective Learning, Teaching, Assessment, and Feedback methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the subject area.
  • Recent and successful professional experience in the relevant field.
  • Teaching experience in an educational environment (preferably Post-16).
  • Able to engage with a diverse range of learners on both theoretical and practical components of the program, guiding them to successfully complete their studies.
  • Commitment to the growth and advancement of all students.

Compensation:

Salary ranges from £23,200 to £25,600 per annum (pro-rata £29,000 to £32,000 1FTE), dependent on qualifications and experience.
